Shelby Bourne is the Nashville City Club’s new Private Events Manager.
Shelby will oversee weddings, rehearsal dinners, reunions, corporate lunches, and other private events of all size.
“I am really excited to expand our availability and the event sector for the club,” she said.
A Florida native, Shelby has worked in major hotel properties rated as 4-star and 5-star by Forbes. She joins the NCC staff after 1½ years at the Hermitage Hotel as catering sales manager. Prior to that, she worked at the Ritz Carlton in Orlando.
She attended the well-respected Rosen College of Hospitality Management, where she obtained her bachelor’s of science degree in Hospitality Management. Shelby also spent seven years as a nanny in Winter Park, Florida, which included the opportunity to travel to exclusive resorts properties all over the world. France tops her list of favorite places.
Shelby is excited to join the City Club and be an integral part of the Nashville City Club and its rich history.
“We’ve got such great space to do a multitude of kinds of events,” Shelby says. “We want the club to be the go-to place for all of our members’ events.”
