Uncorked! held an excellent wine-tasting Thursday night at the Nashville City Club! The wine selections, chosen by Service Director, Justin Donnellan, were French-inspired. Guests started off the evening with a tasting of La Marca D.O.G. while they mingled and settled down in their seats. Overlooking the downtown lights of Nashville, members enjoyed selections of Chandon “Extra Dry Riche”, Elyssia “Pinot Noir Brut”, Gloria Ferrer “Blanc de Noir” and Mondoro “Asti Spumante”.
The wine selections for the evening were paired with special menu items from Chef Toby’s kitchen. Chef Toby prepared roasted corn & tasso chutney and pickled okra poppers to start off the night. Inspired by French cuisine, guests also experienced Chef’s jumbo lump crab beignet, grilled quail, mini crawfish cheesecake, and bananas foster bread pudding.
The Uncorked! Club had one of its best nights to date thanks to all of our wonderful members and guests, member chair, Marty Lee, and the efforts of our service team and staff! Thank you to everyone who made Uncorked! such a successful event!
